SG2010 Workshop Applications NOW OPEN!

The SmartGeometry Group
is pleased to announce that Workshop Applications to the
SmartGeometry 2010 Workshop and Conference in Barcelona
are now open.

The annual Workshop and Conference will take place in Barcelona 19th – 24th March 2010. The event will be the key event in the year for discussing, learning and networking about the emerging practice of digital parametrics within the AEC community.

The event will come in three parts, a Workshop (19th-22th March), a public Shop Talk (23rd March), and a public Symposium and Reception (24th March). These events follow the highly successful previous SG events in San Francisco 2009, Munich 2008, New York 2007, Cambridge/London, UK 2006 and multiple preceding events.

SG 2010 will be in Europe in March 2010

The planning for SG 2010 is well advanced and we expect to announce the venue and date very shortly. Most likely it will be in southern Europe and the dates will likely be 19-24th March 2010.

This web site will open for applications to the workshop as soon as we make the announcement of the venue and the firm dates.

Starting today, SmartGeometry.org has a new home with a host of new features.

You will find frequent articles and blog postings by SG members and friends, reviews of recent conferences and software (with photos/video), and an open forum on a variety of topics for your participation.

This new site also contains content from the previous conferences and workshops as well as information about future events. It will be the gathering place prior to the next SG International Conference for workshop attendees and speakers.

Become a member, and come back often and take part in the future development of architectural design computation!
